A little history of Alpine Performance Centre |
|
Situated in the small country town of Whorouly in North East Victoria in an unassuming shed opposite the local footy ground is where you'll find the Alpine Performance Centre.
The business Whorouly Motors was started over 70 years ago as a mechanical repair workshop and service station for the local farming community. It was the sort of place that would fix what ever came through the shed doors from tractors to mowers to the family car or the local school bus, it still is but now days you will also find race bikes, drift cars, hot rods and all manner of high performance vehicles waiting for their turn on the dyno, or having a custom exhaust fitted or new engine management system wired in.
In the early 1990's Shane Kinderis took over the business and has managed it ever since, and with Shane came a big change to the small country garage. With his vast knowledge and passion for any thing on wheels and his "I can and will make it go faster" attitude, Whorouly Motors was never going to be the same and Alpine Performance Centre was created.
